Digital News Editor for China Territory (Full-time)
Position summary:
The Digital News Editor is responsible for creating engaging social media content and promoting Ruptly's presence on China's dgital channels. A prospective candidate should have excellent news judgment and be immersed in current affalrs and global politics; have apro-active approach to work, should nat be shy of responsibility and decision making; should understand the nuances of the digital market in China and use that understanding to provide various audiences with specific content, both hard news and soft stories.
Required Skills:
1. Bachelors in journalsm, communications, English or related fields
2. Chinese native speaker with fluent Englsh skills
3. Understanding of Chinese social media and digital landscape, latest video trends within the territory
4. Experience in video editing
5. Excellent creative writing and communication skills
6. Overseeing multiple streams of work.
7. 1-3 years of related working experience
8. Excellent attention to detail and ability to internalize feedback and incorporate into future projects
9. Highlyself-motivated and responsible, experience working in a team-orierited and collaborative environment
